MyPay

Jul 2025 – Present Noida, India

Internal progression

Joined MyPay as a Software Engineer and began taking responsibility for servers, AWS deployments and automation within the first months. Transitioned internally to the dedicated DevOps Engineer role in July 2026.

DevOps Engineer

Jul 2026 – Present

A dedicated DevOps role that formalised the infrastructure, deployment automation and production responsibilities already taken on as a Software Engineer.

What the role involved

  • Manage AWS infrastructure and production environments.
  • Run containerised workloads with Docker and Kubernetes on Amazon EKS.
  • Provision and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
  • Handle Linux servers, Nginx and application deployments.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot systems using Grafana, Loki and CloudWatch, working with SLO and SLI practices.
  • Work with Redis and databases, applying security practices and automation across environments.

Software Engineer

Worked across application engineering and production operations. Within the first months at MyPay, took responsibility for servers and began moving manual AWS deployments towards automated, Docker-based workflows.

What the role involved

  • Built and maintained application functionality for POS and payment-related systems.
  • Began managing production servers within the first months at MyPay.
  • Automated application deployments that had previously required manual AWS steps.
  • Introduced Docker-based deployment workflows.
  • Set up CloudFront delivery for files and images.
  • Troubleshot issues across applications, APIs, databases, deployments and infrastructure.

Completed paid client projects alongside BCA, handling the full delivery lifecycle from frontend and backend development to deployment, domains and production configuration.

What the role involved

  • Delivered Pahadiphere, School Games Olympiad and Ugrarupa Energy as client projects.
  • Built frontend and full-stack functionality based on each project's requirements.
